THE GAME’S MC FREESTYLE CONTEST
OFFICIAL RULES - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

1. HERE'S HOW IT WORKS:

Step #1: Beginning 12:01am ET on 10/16/06, create a free Bix.com account at www.bix.com and record and upload an original webcam or video performance of your best 16 bar freestyle. The entry must show you and the performance must be your own original material. Entries must be submitted by 6:59pm ET on 1/1/07.

Step #2: Promote yourself! Share your Bix.com video URL with your friends and family and ask them to create a free Bix.com account and vote for your video. One vote per person and no more than two people may vote from a single computer. Be sure to comply with the Bix.com Service Agreement (www.bix.com/tos.htm); noncompliance with this or any other Official Rule will result in disqualification.

All participants are bound by the Bix.com Service Agreement. Any video created by the entrant, which in the sole opinion of Sponsor, is deemed inappropriate (e.g., defamation, nudity, violence, inappropriate acts, etc.) will be removed and the entrant will be disqualified. You may enter more than once; however, each entry must be accompanied by a unique performance.

2. VOTING:

Audition Voting Period: Registered Bix.com members will have the opportunity to cast one vote for each performance they feel is entertaining. The audition voting period will end at 6:59pm ET on 1/1/07. On or about 1/2/07, Bix.com will total the number of eligible votes and determine which of the five entrants will move on to the Finalist Voting Period, subject to verification of eligibility. In the event of a tie, tied entries will be judged by Sponsor to determine the most entertaining performance.

Final Voting Period: The 5 Finalists will have their original entry reviewed by The Game. On or about 1/8/07, Bix.com will award one Grand Prize to the Finalist selected by The Game, subject to verification of eligibility.

3. PRIZE:

Grand Prize - A spot on a mix tape produced by The Game and a check for $1,000 US. The Game reserves the right to edit or request modifications to the final entry or request a new performance to be used on the mix tape.

4. GENERAL RULES:

Open to residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who, have attained the age of majority in their state of residence, or are emancipated minors, or possess legal parental or guardian consent, and are fully able and competent to enter into the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Official Rules and the Bix.com Service Agreement. Void where prohibited by law. Employees of Bix.com, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion agencies, and their immediate families and those living in same household of each are not eligible. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Potential Finalist winners will be notified by email and must respond within 4 days of transmission. Potential Finalist winners must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Publicity Release Form within 7 days of receipt. Noncompliance within these time periods may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be determined. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for undeliverable emails resulting from any form of active or passive email filtering by a user's internet service provider and/or email client or for insufficient space in user's email account to receive email. Winner may make no substitution or transfer of prize. All federal, state and local income taxes are sole responsibility of winner. If technical malfunctions or suspect selections/irregularities corrupt the voting portion of the competition, sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to award prize based solely on non-suspect online votes. Sponsor not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, damaged, illegible or misdirected mail/e-mail or for any technical problems, malfunctions of any telephone lines, computer systems, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof. Sponsor not responsible for any damage to any participant's computer system/software related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this promotion. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS PROMOTION IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAW. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Any use of robotic, automatic, programmed, or the like methods of participation (including voting) will void all such submissions by such methods. If for any reason the promotion is canceled, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes outside control of Sponsor or its promotional partners which impair or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the competition and to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the competition. By participating in this competition, participants certify that he/she has followed the Official Rules of this competition, complied with the Bix.com Service Agreement. All entrants consent to use of name, likeness, entry material in any manner by Sponsor or its promotional partners for advertising and trade without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By participating in this promotion, participants agree to be bound by Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which are final. In the event there is a discrepancy or inconsistency between disclosures or other statements contained in any competition materials and the terms and conditions of the Official Rules, the Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control.
