The Phoenix (Poem)
The Phoenix
The great war, fall of a nation/
Debatin' the racin, hearts pacin'/
Shells fall, baby's die/
Mama's cry, tears dry/
Fire's eye, provide the light/
Flames of blue, rise from ash/
Wings of light, shine so bright/
Break the lash, erase the past/
Embrace the gift of the earth/
This magestic bird/
Brings peace, release, warmth, heat/
Battle the beast, the dragon, keeps/
THe people safe, from the hate/
Innocence's escape/
A hero will rise, in a mask and cape/
Flames of blue, protector of truth/
And to whom who flirt with evil/
Whom we despise
A HERO will rise
With fire in his EYES
