last night.. i restored da ipod .. i was gonna lcik shift n restore.. but i said fuckit.. i clicked restore.. n it said.. contacting apple for software upgrade or sumtin like dat.. after dat.. da 2.0 firmware rules or sumtin popped up n it started downloading.. dont know if its free or not..
