Putting in a HID conversion kit into a car that was not designed for them will cause a whole lotta glare, blinding everyone on the other side of the road. They're also illegal.

The "proper" way to put HIDs in a car that didn't come with them is to modify the headlight to accept a true projector. See example here.


But since you're probably gonna do it anyway, the higher the "number" the blue/purpler the light gets & the worse the visibility. Most cars come with around 4300K.
