cphase had a real nice feel to his... cool groove... and the sample was sick. Juan just played with the ins and outs alot more and the beat had a more "uppity" feel to it, which I enjoyed more. Considering that they both sampled the same thing, and Juan's beat sounded doper, I got to give him the "W".
tutorials tutorials tutorials. and next time cphase, dont let the beat drop out as much. Its cool when you lace the track with vocals, but not for beatmaking. No offense. This is all IMO anyway.
Nice battle idea tho. Giving the 2 contestants the same thing to sample = very dope. Especially since within every song you can get infinate variations using sampling.
