The Coldest, a young cat, nine years old from a small town, is one day riding with his parents when he flips the radio station to hear.... hip-hop... This genre, little did he know, would be bigger to him than he imagined, listen as I unfold the story that began the legend, as i take you for a trip, into... the Hip-Hop Tone...

Damn this vacation trip, my mind achin so i flip
the station, mind embracin, a new creation lets it rip
as i sit meditatin on the words that indulge the tip
of my mind all down my spine i feel the tingle of it
"turn that black music off" is what i hear but my ears
are locked on the sound vibrations thats bouncin through the air(slant that word)
they're so clear theres no fear tupac rhymin with words he made
so good to be played, its speakin to me in its own way
this is the day i found my callin to the music i was destined
to live by, i can feel it, in my heart stop time like smith n westons
my mind restin, mom checkin me, two slaps across my cheek
the boss of me, say i wont listen to that thug crap im grounded for a week
but mom im pleading, the beat's music im readin
the vocabulary impedin new areas of my mind never before receivin
a high like this, hell no boy im not going to hear you cussin
you wont be the type to grow up go to school n start bustin
so i sink down in my seat n sulk, but in my brain im not done
gonna get some cassettes to rerun, this phenomenon back through the eardrum....

haha man theres so much that came to mind i wanted to say but i had to stop or id get into more of after i found hp hop not when i found it so... ill prolly drop like a continue of this in open mic... watch out
