deceased long ago but released amongst the midst of 88, the mist and the snow
where do my troubles go, when snow doesn't come in the summertime glow

the aftermath though, my beginning chapter of life
shines on the community of art like my birth exemplifies light

at 2, getting forced fed, woke up alive with 2 parents by my distant bed
and life is a path which equals the struggles through the downfall, preparing myself to sled

nothing i regret, more then living to die
written through cries, but the wind don't tell wreckless as a baby how to get by

appreciating life and its worthwhile opportunity
i used to think getting older past childhood and birth was my key to the immunity

never choosed to be, white or black, female male or a musician
but birth can hear the birds chirp, aint the wake up call to life just so much more amusing then the actual livin

death is the dirt road ahead, birth is my upbringing
since im in the church, we got the choir boys singing

Scientificly, "birth is the process by which an offspring is created"
but metaphorical content of this term has so much more it can't be quoted

I mean, we all have one scientific birth date that's on the ID card
but sometimes experiences make you birth and rebirth like a change of heart

I guess we all feel, at least one day in our life, a major turning point
like when you brake up with your girl, or swear not to smoke another joint

well if that never happend to you, other things did, they just examples
the deal is something changed and u gonna take life from diferent angles

nigga i was born on 1984, in mozambique, wednesday, the 8th of august
grew up in the middle of a civil war, it's true, i'm just being honest

back then, niggaz would shoot you just for a bag of korn or rice
you survived the first shot? they didn't second guess to shoot you twice

A few yearz later the war was over, niggaz had to addapt to society
that was my second birth - went to Lisbon to study, a dream turned reality

In Portugal, I had contact with rapmusic, it was my 3rd "first breath"
ready to die re-borned me again, for me it is real life after death
