Intro

Welcome to the CBL motherfuckers. CBL stands for Cage Battle League in case some of you were wondering. Now this is my first ever job as a mod, or as a mod of a league, but I think shit will go well. I know there are alot of doubting assholes out there, but I know for a fact we will have a real nice league in the coming weeks. For people in the league right now, please go out & recruit some dope cats. Right now as far as dope or nice heads, I'd like to shout-out Illustration, Area51, Murda Morris, Transgress [?], G-Rated & Jah Wise. These guys will be the base of the league right now. I'm hoping to get more dope heads in the coming weeks to build a strong rep & give better competition. Not to say other guys aren't good, but compared to our stronger heads, well, you know what I mean...

Anyways, I only ask that you guys drop fresh, vote, and show your asses up. I & G-Rated will be trying our best to make this league ill. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make things more interesting as far as specialty battles etc.

The Line Up: Battler Profiles & Their Potential

I kinda stole this idea from the IBA cuz I thought it was dope how they gave a kind of grade to new sign ins. Since everyone at the moment is a new sign in, I thought I'd do the same.

G-Rated:
A talented cat in my eyes. I think if he makes his punches a bit more fresh & cuts downs some of his excess lineage, he'll do good.
Predicted Grade: B

Prycele$$: Also talented. He's still very young compared to most. Alot of cats don't feel the 'gun talk' he throws out, but that's just his style. If he can get more original with better wording, he'll do damage.
Predicted Grade: C+

Aril Problym: This guy I'm not sure about. He's an "old school" cage battler. He's been here since the cage first began. He's never ventured outside of RGF, therefore, he doesn't know what other sites see as dope. He still writes as if he's in a real life battle, which you can't do. If he fixes that, he can be good, but he still has a long way to go in my opinion.
Predicted Grade: C-

Area51: I like this guy. [No homo] I've watched him improve, very quickly I might add. His improvement has to do with him battling on higher caliber sites, taking in the advice & using it. I remember the first time I battled him, I thought he was a newb, so I slacked and he beat me. Then he went on to beat me 3 more times, each time coming at me better & better. It's been cool to see him improve. If he can come fresher with slightly better wording, look out for this cat.
Predicted Grade: A-

Glo8al: I haven't seen much from him. He seems to me like he is still learning. With advice from the more skilled dudes & more experience, I'm sure he'll thrive here & elsewhere hopefully.
Predicted Grade: C-

Oblivious Obstruction: This guy is more into topicals, as he's stated many times before. It shows in his battles, as he attempts to use a larger vocab, & it ends up taking over his actual disses. If he gets into battle mode, watch out, cuz this guy is an intellectual.
Predicted Grade: C

Illustration: According to him, he's been at it since '98. Got damn is all I have to say. From what I've seen, he still has it. He's always dependable as far as breakdowns & feedback. He'll be a great addition to this place. I want to see how much this 'old man' has left in his tank.
Predicted Grade: B+

ruivirtual: He's from another country which at times, I believe, causes some misunderstandings in his battles. He comes with pretty straight forward disses which can be good and bad. If he can get more complex, he'll be good.
Predicted Grade: C-

Da Birthday Boy: I haven't seen much, and what I have, I can't really recall. He's decent if memory strikes me correctly. Like rui & others, he needs improvement & honest feedback to elevate him.
Predicted Grade: C

YoungGunna22: The problem with him is; he's not a battler. There was a brief stint of maybe 2 weeks where he battled consistantly & I saw improvement. He hasn't battled since then so we shall see.
Predicted Grade: C-

.GgG.: Punches...and lots of 'em. His style won't be met with open arms from cats at other sites who migrate here, but I'm positive he won't give a fuck. His punches are at times, dope, and at others, misses. We'll see what he comes with.

Godson1: Sorry son, ain't seen nothin' from you.

jalal: Sorry, haven't seen anything from you.

Illmattic: He has potential. Like others in here, he needs to work on making complex, hard hitting punches. He definitlet has potential.
Predicted Grade: C+

Klauz: Sorry, nothing...
Predicted Grade: None.

DocThaExpert: He comes with hard hitting personals. They hit hard, but again, like others, needs complex shit incorporated & he'll do good.
Predicted Grade: C+

Transgress: Honestly, I don't know who he is. He must be an alias or something. I'd like to thank him for joining, he says he's from Bragginwrites. Welcome, and drop nice.

Murda Morris: I battled him on BW once. He beat me. Bastard! Nah, but he has skills. He will do damage in this league. Most definitley.
Predicted Grade: A-

Ghost-Ex: Like Pryce, Ghost has gun talk, and lots of it. It will most definitley be hated on, but that's just him. I've seen alot of his shit & he's gotten better since way back then. He used to be my tag partner...but enough of that. If he can get complex with his G.T., he'll be good.
Predicted Grade: B

Jah Wise: This sick bastard suprised the hell out of me. I thought he was going to be another newb to battling, but he wasn't. Well, he is, but he isn't if that makes sense. He's like Area51, he caught on really quick to this shit. His punches are hit or miss, & he needs to work on quitting his filler, but some of his concepts are dope as hell. In due time, he'll be smashing bitches left & right.

- Should be good shit. Both are good battlers. But if Jah comes like I know he can, I got him taking it.

Prycele$$ vs. Ghost-Ex
- Hmmm...The battle of the gun talking mofos. Pryce is a little more fresh with it, so I got him taking it.

Aril Problym vs. Murda Morris
- Based on freshness alone, I got Morris.

Area51 vs. Transgress
- Because I have no idea who Trans is, I got Area.

Glo8al vs. DocThaExpert
- Based on what I've seen from both, Doc should take this one with the harder hitters.

Oblivious Obstruction vs. Klauz
- OO isn't a battler. I haven't seen Klauz but I think if OO can take his hand off the pen and put it on the trigger, he can take it.

Illustration vs. Illmattic
- This should be Ill. No really, Illustration should take it.

ruivirtual vs. jalal
- I doubt that jalal will even show.

- DBB should get this with what I've seen from both.

YoungGunna22 vs. .GgG. vs. Godsson1
- This will probably end up being between YG & .GgG. since I doubt Godsson1 will show. GgG has the harder punches and fresher stuff.
