It sounds like a great addition to the game, considering how useful car trunks have proven to be in the world of organized (and disorganized) crime. Bodies, drugs, weapons, bombs, etc. all fit quite nicely.

its a cool feature but i dont see people who are just fucking around to use it alot since people tend to change cars really often

Great point^.. I take my car out of the garage, go to mission, and then trash the car there usually.. But maybe it'll have the Saint's Row type of feature, when one a car is in ur garage, itll always be there unless removed.
