im thinking about getting one soon... either after the holiday where there might a price drop, or just before the holidays... its my money, so i dont really give a shit about getting gyped outta 50 bucks if it does get dropped..

my problem is this.. i personally dont have an HD tv, but two of my roommates are gonna get one for our living room so i will be able to use that from time to time... so im not sure if i need an HDMI port on my 360... my laptop does have a port that i could hook up my 360 to, but is it really worth it?

also the hard drive issue is bugging me.. i will put some music on it maybe a movie or two, but there's the 120 gig one which i dont think i really need.. that comes on the elite i think..

so really my question is this, if i dont have an hdtv, but i do have a laptop that can project in hd, and i dont plan on putting a whole lotta media on my 360, is the elite version really worth it? and if not, there's like. 2 or 3 other kinds of 360s, i think one comes without a hdd? someone help me out

i would say you dont need the elite version. you can get the 349.99 one that will serve your needs

From what I remember. The display ports on laptops are outputs, not inputs. I say just get the Elite. You might be paying more money, but it's always a better choice to get topshelf, since there is a possibility of buyer's remorse if you buy the premium.

I'd have to agree with that. Unless if you really want to use up that much space on your harddrive, just use the spare cash on games.

well umm... i've had my 360 since last year.. never had a problem yet... & it has like 2yrs of warranty left.. and if it gets the death ring.. then i'd get it fixed
