i say the silver one- if you get a psp slim don't upgrade the firmware. you can get custom firmware on it by using a special battery

yea you can i got 3.71 M33 custom firmware on the slim silver.
i went from 3.60 official firmware to 3.60 M-33 by using a pandora battery and memory stick
edit: you have to have official psp firmware 3.60 to get custom firmware on the slim
