The signs pointing to PS3 price-cut continue to appear. The most recent:Publisher SCi Entertainment (Hit Man, Tomb Raider) has gone on record saying the PlayStation 3 needs a price-cut in order to meet forecasts.

"The Board continues to believe in the long-term commercial success of PlayStation 3 but believes this may take more time than originally forecast by Sony," said SCi Chief Executive, Jane Cavanagh.

"The Board is of the opinion that the key driver to the acceleration of the installed base of PlayStation 3 will be a further hardware price cut."

Hmm...interesting, no?

I think this is a no-brainer..but even if they do a price cut they still need good games to support the system..I'm predicting mid 08 is when PS3 will really take off..

Yeah, it does need a price cut. If it's the price of the 360, that shit helps it out by a LOT.

it has good games already...and PLENTY of exclusives.

The fact is it doesnt need a price cut, you pay for what you get.

Bluray is part of ps3, if you dont want bluray then you dont want the ps3.
