Ok here is my problem...

I couldnt get the internet to work in my apt. on my PS3. so I went out and bought a 5 switch Router the other day and hooked it up and bam, i didnt have to do anything. I was able to play RB6 Vegas online. So I went and bought Warhawk today, and I go to play it and Im getting my old error messages again.

The top right corner just flashes "The ps3 system has been disconnected from the media server"

I go into network setting and just do easy setup for wired connection. I test and I obtain my IP Address, but always Fail on the Internet Connection.

My computer is using the same router and works fine so its not the connection. Please some one help me out I will post any additional info you need. Just get me playing Warhawk ASAP

ps the error is
"The connection to the server timed out 80028E06"

I had that error before, should work fine later on.

has ur shit ever flashed over and over again,

The ps3 has been disconnected from the media server?

cause i got all this shit in my video and media in the UMB that isnt mine... i think its from ppl in my complex.

can i disable the media server and still play on the internet?

try a diff ethernet port.

i did... same shit. im calling sony tomorrow at bitching at them. how does it work 1 time then then stop working.

have you got the latest firmware update? You sound like you've got the one before the last one ( i forget the number of it), but that had errors..Sony fixed it within 2 days of it going out.

Its not Sonys fault. If they can help, great, but it's probably something silly you're missing. If you've actually been online, i can't see the PS3 has done something wrong, it might be you (just saying)

ya i got the latest update i think its 1.93.

called sony got some guy who was a ton of help. since im in a apt complex i had to first get a actual router and not a switch (doing this tomrrow) and then go into the broswer and login on my providers online page... well see if it works. good customer support by sony.

i no its not their fault but its their product i need help on. i was just mad cause i bought warhawk and i couldnt play it. they helped alot
