How can i make my NAT type open?
dont no if this is in the wrong section or not but i figured sum folx might no since it told me this on halo 3..........neways i gotta wireless connection and i closed the firewall.......does anybody know how i could make it open?

god its a bitch to do like u gotta have like a static ip adress and some other shit, my dads friend done mine :S sorry i couldnt be any help but get ur IP address from the Xboxlive bit and put it in ur URL bar thing at the top and it should take you to your routers webpage. Then on just check out the settings and try and change it, that and search it on Yahoo theres alot of guides just dig around.

yea i found a guide online but i cant remember it, but yea its somethin like makin a static ip and port forwarding on your router and turnin off upnp i think google it

yeah im having the same damn problem. i hate having to unhook my peice of shit router to play halo. been tryin to do this all fuckin day with a buddy and we can't figure the shit out.

try to turn on DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) for the IP that your using for the xbox in your router's settings..that might work
