The orginal xbox owners got shafted and now after all the RROD crap the 360 owners are getting shafted if this is true.

Co-sign, I'd be hella pissed if they drop a new console late next year. Means I paid all that money for the 360 for it to only become shitty and vulnerable when they dropped the Elite, then completely obsolete a year after that.

Every company will already be working on their next console though. I'm sure Sony is working on the PS4 and Nintendo is working on the next console aimed at children. Would be interesting to see what technology they will be using next time.

In all seriousness, ALL companies plan for their next console, it's common fucking sense. The PS3 development wasn't started when the 360 came out, they were working at the drawing boards and all that shit, you guys seriously need to realize that. There really is no reason for them to release a new XBox since they are making so much money with the 360.

lol @ people saying PS3 will win if xbox 3 gets released.. if you seen the specs that are susposed to be in that, Sony lost big time.. especially after the fact they guaranteed PS3 would be on the market for 10 years, if those specs are true for xbox 3, PS3 ain't no next gen console anymore.
