on xbox360 you can play any music ripped on your 360 during any game by pressing the xbox button. can you do the same for ps3 games and play ripped music on your ps3 during games?

damn that sux! im so glad i got the 360 instead. i was so pumped and wanted to get ps3 but i didn't have enough cash so i just got the 360 instead and i was still planning on getting ps3 but imma hold off on that now.

im so glad i got the 360 instead now. being able to listen to your own music during gameplay is just too fuckin ill. fuckka bitchass ps3

I thought the idea was cool for like 10-20 minutes, but after that, I forgot all about it.

From what I heard, you can do it on a very select few games, but it's not a standard like on 360.

if you're not buying a PS3 for that reason you're STUPID.

Why dont you just play a cd or listen to your Mp3 player if u wanna listen to music as you play.

I think you KNEW the answer to this question and just wanna hate on the PS3.

Also, Sony have promised its coming in a future firmware update

u can do it its just not in many games.

lazy developers. if u want it that bad get high velocity bowling or super stardust HD.

i love that feature, o i play crunk shit when i play gears of war! btw ima beast in that game SNIPER IS ALL 4 NEED!!

you can do it with the PS3... but the people who make games have to put that option into the games... like one game called super stardust HD, that game u can listen to music.... but you act like listening to music is the best thing since sliced bread.

The in-game xmb update is coming soon, this will allow you to listen to music in-game.
