Ok now i know this is going to turn into a flame war. but oh well.
since i cant find a wii i'm wondering which should i get a 360 or ps3?
i'm not really sure could any of you list the pro's and cons to each system?

well 360 if your a male and ps3 if your a female.

uh-oh

well i own an xbox 360, the games are superb and the online community is very good

obviously it has hardware problems, but those effect the older machines generally, the newer models are better built

with the PS3, it's like a time bomb.......right now it's quiet, but sooner rather than later it's gonna explode and you'll know about it. the games coming out for it will be huge.

the only problems in my eyes is the poor integration of online play, just depends on how much you enjoy playing games online

I would've totally said Xbox 360 about 8 months ago and back, and I've got a PS3. Xbox's killer exclusives in 2006/2007 are fading, and their only big exclusives for 2008 in my opinion are Gears of War 2 and Fable 2.

Make the decision based on your game preference.

Everyone has their own opinion, and mine is PS3. And I personally think Mass Effect 2 and Bioshock 2 are totally going multi-platform eventually anyway. If not, it doesn't really matter because I'll still be playing with the awesome games I'm guaranteed of having on PS3.

I'd say don't let anyone sway your decision. (that includes me) Do some research on your behalf, and make a decision that you're happy with. And buy the console that you truly want.

The PSN is an open-platform system, I've never had any problems with it. I personally see it as $50 a year I save by not having Xbox Live.

MLB08?

Motorstorm 1 sucked and the only people that care about baseball are puerto ricans and new yorkers.

I would replace those shitty games you listed with Haze, and Home.

MLB 08 is a fucking good ass game, and Motorstorm was a fun game to play with friends who came over.

It lacked features, and didnt really justify its price tag but the game itself is awesomeness, one of the best racing games i ever played.
