The move was executed pretty much in secret, with Guitar Hero III Wii owners receiving the freebie late last week complete with a letter of apology/thank you note. "You recently received a Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Wii replacement disc. To show our appreciation for your patience during the re-mastering and manufacturing phase for Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock for the Wii, enclosed is a complementary Guitar Hero faceplate from Activision/Red Octane," the note read.

Not really, EA gave people videogames for waiting for their Rockband Equipment.
Hell, even XBox people sometimes get a game for waiting to get their 360 back too. |

^^^^^yea datz true..unluckily for me, all i got was a month of xbox live.
quick question Grahf...do you think now is a good time to buy Rock Band. its been out for a while so the guitar, drum set, and mic. should have been fixed of all problems correct. thats why i waited a while before buying it.

They might have fixed all the problems, but I really don't know.
The problems are easily fixed though... If your downstrum doesn't work, then open the guitar up yourself, and fix it, it's not really hard at all. As for your drum pedal snapping in half, I say get this shit: http://www.area51moto.com/mega/ |

Definitely...
2 things it has over Guitar Hero 3 1. Multiple Instruments - You aren't just limited to playing the guitar, so in actuality, it's like buying 3 games in one. 2. DLC - Guitar Hero 3's tracks come once in a blue moon, Rock Band's tracks come every week (and they are cheaper too). If you buy all of DLC on Rock Band, you get like over 130 songs iirc. |
