This game any good? i havnt bought a baseball game since mvp 05 one of the greatest baseball games ever and i was thinking about buying this one anyone played it b4? any opinons?

IMO it one of the best if not the best MLB game i've played but like i said thats IMO. you can actually get the demo on the Live Marketplace. i will admit it kinda hard getting used to because to swing, pitch, and throw to a base you have to use the right analog stick. once you get used to that it's get good and it's not like everyone can hit a homerun like in "THE BIGS".

Game has some frame rate issues when signed into a profile (for some reason it works fine when not) Online is real laggy. I do like the game, just wish they would fix those issues.

Just read on 2k sports that a patch should be out very soon to fix the issues.

If you have a PS3, get MLB 08: The Show.
If you don't have a PS3, buy one just to play MLB 08: The Show
MLB 2K8 was a disaster, MLB 2K7 might be better and thats not a good thing.

MLB 2K8 is fuckin garbage... The graphics are sweet but the controls sucks like hell... I took my copy back the next day! If they fix the problems and make a patch for it, I'll buy another one but for now I'll stay on NBA 2K8 and continue to whoop ass!

I love 2k8 the pitching makes the game so fun.

once they release the patch mlb 2k8 should be on par with mlb 2k7 (which was a really good baseball game)...

as it is rite now mlb 2k8 is an embarassment for 2k sports (frame rate issues and poor transitions at this point are a joke because the game itself closely resembles 2k7 from a graphics and sound perspective)...
