u start off with 69/74 GB. (74 is the max, not 80) but u actually start off with 69 or 67 GB. the bigger the hard drive u get, the bigger chunk they take out. like if u get a 350 GB hdd, you'll actually have 300 GB's (they'll take off 50 gigs)
