The hot rumor-of-the-minute on the internet: Sony, Samsung, Hitachi, Motorola and others have teamed up to bring out a Wireless Home Digital Interface that will allow HD video delivery through multiple rooms in your house. So your TV in the Kitchen can catch a Blu Ray movie playing on the living room PlayStation 3.

As far as the likelihood of this rumor being true, we'd be surprised, honestly, if it wasn't happening. What a missed opportunity that would be, eh? More on this as it develops.

I don't see how this is possible. Blu Ray movies have an EXTREMELY high bitrate, so streaming something like that would require a heavy ass network connection. But I heard they did it on the PSP, so I guess it's possible.

co-sign... but I know they can do it with the newer wireless technology being released... That shit will cost an arm and a leg....

Yeah, well PS3 doesn't have a Wireless N adapter. I doubt that is in the equation.

Grahf, it's being developed by companies who take humongous things and make it itty bitty tiny, have faith. It's most likely possible, but it will be expensive I bet.
