If you have a good computer, I'd say just use ePSXE and run it off of that. It makes the graphics way better, and cuts down loading times. As for helping find a mod chip. Sorry, can't help you, it's hard finding shit like that for a system that is 13 years old.

Beat me to it. If you need a site for roms let me know. Torrents have em too, but most of them time you'll have to sift through packs containing like 200 games.

If you're still on about modding the system, ebay and all won't have them and normally you'd have to find a guy that does this kinda stuff anyways. Even then, I doubt mod chips for PSX still exist.

If you can afford a ps2, I know of a disc that you startup the system with, it takes you to a menu, and then the tray opens and switch it with your burned game. I'll try and find it, and it's only 20 bucks. Alot of my friends bought them in bulk and were happy with them, so. And it works for most, if not all, games. Very few exceptions.

I did send a PM but now I feel compelled to reply to the posts.

I have PSX/PSOne Stealth chips , it's just a matter of figuring out which box they're in.

Are you referring to the Game Shark swap method or the Swap Discs. Game Shark requires internal work no matter how you look at it.. The Swap Discs require you to open up your drive tray with a tool and is not good for the PS2 system at all. Unless of course you buy a new case with a flip top cover.

The latter is the one I was talking about. I knew someone would bring up the Gameshark thing, and no, that's not it. I told him to buy a ps2 assuming that the one's with the slide out disc tray are pretty rare. The flip top ones are the "newer" ones, I guess.
