EA has announced that three Sims titles are in development, including Sims 2 Holiday Edition for PlayStation 3.

Apparently the PS3 title will be released by Christmas 2006 or 2007 - the former does seem a bit soon though. No other information was given on the title.

The other two titles include the next iteration in the Sims franchise, Sims 3, due for release in the 2008 fiscal year (April 2008 - March 2009).

And finally, EA will develop a Sims game specifically for Nintendo Wii.

The Sims and Sims 2 are two of the most popular titles for PC.
