Could someone please explain what Wi-Fi exactly is and how it works. I live way out in the middle of nowhere and have dial-up so how would online gaming go for me? Could I use the Wi-Fi features? Would it not work at all, be slow, or fine.

PS3 is going to make you pay for the Wi-Fi like how Xbox does with Xbox Live...

Nope, but I just know you gotta pay for Wi-Fi if you plan on getting PS3 or x360.

WiFi may cost you something, but PS3 online (with the cables and such) is free. :th_jackson:

if you have a router in your house then it wont cost you anything.. its just like using a laptop hooked up to the router
