i really havent been following video games the past 5 years.. (8th grade-high school) so i never really researched everythign that came out in between, including the ps3 360 and wii... so i had no idea that the psp could browse the internet like a computer could...i knew you could play online, but that was it...

so a bud showed me his and how he could read the book we're reading in english online through his psp.... which had me wondering... should i get one too??

as im typing this im checking best buy to see how much it costs, cuz yeah, i never paid attention to that either... i know you can dl games from torrents for psp, which takes care of me not having enough money afterwards to buy games.... but in order to play dled isos, do i need to do anything to my psp?? mod it or whatever??

and more importantly, is it worth it? steady stream of good games? :emo001:

i like my psp you dont need to mod it you just gotaa have a memory stick to fit the games and you gotta dl programs to on your psp to play game (which can sometimes be confusing)but there some cool games both GTAs sport and game and some other cool games Socom 1 & 2, Medal Of Honor it all depens what you like

yeah yeah, i was looking at gamespot and all the titles look straight... i think i'll save up for it then...

the main question for me is about the technology... does the internet work fine??? if you're out, how do you connect to the internet when there isnt a network available? like at a grocery store or something??

and does the internet replace using the internet on an actual computer??? meaning can i visit this site and type the message im typing right now, or would i be expecting too much?

Yea when you get it, if it has 2.6 firmware or below , thenn do not upgrade, downgrade to 1.50, so you can use devhook and download isos to play
