Launch of Nintendo Wii filled with fun

NEW YORK, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- In sharp contrast to the troubled U.S. launch of Sony's PlayStation 3, the release of the Nintendo Wii was met with an atmosphere of fun Sunday morning.

While the PlayStation 3's release resulted in fighting and shootings, the weekend launch of the newest Nintendo gaming system in New York and Los Angeles offered an entertaining atmosphere that left all customers satisfied, said CNet News.

Having learned from Sony's inability to stock appropriate numbers of its new system in U.S. stores, Nintendo overloaded its stores with products to ensure those waiting hours in line would receive a Wii video gaming system for their diligence.

"Somebody told me there were nearly 3,000 people in line," said Nintendo of America head Reginald Fils-Aime at the New York launch. "Well, let me tell you, we've got 4,000 units in the store."

CNet News reported that in addition, the two launch celebrations also entertained those waiting in line with demonstrations of the new game console and a series of live bands.

this shit looks like its pretty good, and its only 250, im guessin the graphics arent half as good as the 360 or the ps3 because of the significant price difference

zelda is up to par with 360 but call of duty is just med-good ps2 or norm-low xbox

Lol theres no way Zelda is on par with 360 (Check Gears of War) but its still pretty good for a Gamecube port. Lookin forward to it for Christmas.
