So the PS3 has been out for about 2 months now, has anyone had or heard of any major bugs or problems. Everyone said there were gonna be a whole bunch of them but I haven't heard anythings yet. Especially not like the 360 and the harddrives frying or whatever.

I've been playing mine steady and so far no problems with anything, gets a little warm but not too bad. All the system updates download and install fine too.

Well, apparently the PS3 just doesn't last to long. It'll give you trouble, but you get that with all consoles. Other than the Wii, I haven't heard any bugs for it, but the whole is system is so basic so it would be pretty sad if it did have bugs. Just keep updated with the Playstation offical updates, and keep your warranty papers on hand, and you should be fine.

actaully, mine. I was playing Call of Duty 3 online for about 2 1/2 hrs like 2 days ago, and a message came up telling me to turn off the console cause it was overheating. I didnt play it untill this morning, and no problems so far

Just make sure you have enough room around it, at least 6 inches on the right side vent to prevent overheating.

That said, I haven't had any problems with mine

i sold mine cause i didnt need it/lack of games+ too much overheating..same thing with friends..over heating

I've got mine sitting on top of my TV and no problems. But its winter and cold as hell (0 outside) so that might help cool it off too.
