zune is a way better device and has better features. it is manufactured by toshiba so you know you are going to get quality. only thing though the software used is microsoft so there maybe some bugs to come. however, i have found nothing yet. the zune media player also seems easy to use as well. the big plus this player has wireless capability so you can share your music.

i was thinkin about gettin a zune, but i pay 4 my shit wit my own money and i was like if i gonna spend 250 bucks on sumthin, i wanna get the one thats proven, cuz ipods have been proven to be good cuz theyve been around for days

Apple all the way? this coming from somebody that's probably posting on a computer with Windows XP.

I like the iPod for it's support in accessories (being able to integrate it with clock radios, car stereos, audio receivers), and it's slim factor.

I like the Zune for it's support with the 360 (Letting you get music off of your friend's 360 wirelessly), wider screen, and more supported formats (You don't have to worry about converting everything to one format to get it to play on your iPod).

I also like the Vision: M by Creative because the sound and the video quality shit all over both the Zune and the iPod, and it has a built in FM tuner.

I currently own the iPod and when I first got it, I loved it to death, and I really can't do without it, but It really comes down to preference, you really can't go wrong with any of them.
