Grant Morrison Writing 'Area 51' Movie

One of comics’ most respected writers, Grant Morrison, the driving force behind such titles as the Batman graphic novel Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on Serious Earth and All Star Superman has been brought on by Paramount to write a script adaptation for the sci-fi FPS, Area 51.

In the game, a specialist in the field of hazardous materials goes to Area 51 to investigate an extraterrestrial viral outbreak and fights aliens, but since Morrison is writing it, those aliens will either be criminally insane and dress in bright, gregarious outfits or they will be the last survivors of their home world and don blue tights and a red cape. Either way, when the film is released, movie going audiences will be in for quite a ride.
