so i was checking wikipedia acouple mins ago and it showed somethin new on eminem's discography just 2 point out, it says mental release as the latest release, coming in 2007, heres the shit they have on it, its most likely a dud of a article to say this is his next project/album and who'll be on it but i just wanted to see what all of your views on it are:

Mental Release[1] is an upcoming album from rapper Eminem.

It's expected to be released in late 2007. Guests include Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Royce Da 5'9", D12, Nate Dogg, Lloyd Banks and various members of the Shady Records Family[citation needed]. Production will come from Eminem himself, Dr. Dre, Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, 9th Wonder, 50 Cent and Young Buck[citation needed]. Eminem has said he expects it to go platinum and it will be released after his protege 50 Cent's album.[citation needed]

^ seems really fuckin weird that royce da 5-9 would be on this album, they been beefin since eminem said he couldnt sign him to shady, yet he signed 50 cent the next day of that week and royce made all the diss records etc. and that swizz beats is used in the article even tho eminem most likely never uses swizz beats, eminem has said he's expected it to go platinum" wtf, has all those drugs gone to him, he might be right cuz the followup real album next to the re-up could be real good and solid as far as albums are concerned but eminem has never made such statements like this before in the past, although he is cocky as everybody knows. whats everybody think of this most likely bullshit of a article? :laugh_up:

IMO hes past his prime. i wasnt feeling the re-up, encore, and half of the eminem show. his best recent verse was on smack that. i didnt mean to jack your thread, my bad

Yeah man I agree with you, he hasn't done too well recently. But the Re-up wasn't suppose to be a Em Cd, most people don't understand that. He has also grownup and matured, you can;t expect him to talk about fucking his mom when he is 30.

Its the same thing with jay-Z, everyone hates, but you can't expect him to rap about anything that is he ish't. He is a CEO and he is gonna rap about that...

roflmao are you kiddin me man? thats like the opposite, his verse on smack that was fuckin horrible, eminem show was the best album, some tracks on encore were good, others were a joke, re up wasnt a album like the other 2 but brought feel good tracks, man u smokin sometin? check those eminem tracks again in eminem show, smhh @ sayin smack that verse was his recent best, denied.

i realize that the re-up wasnt an eminem cd, to me the point was showcase the future of shady records (am i right?). its just eminem has become boring to me. on encore it seemed like he was trying to act young with his childish rhymes. the track "encore" was the best on there to me, because it showed him older. i would like it better if he did act his age like jay-z is doing now.

yes i agree with that, it was promotional but dont u remember the deep war track reaching out to bush so he can burn him track in mosh, or like toy soldiers, yes i hate most of encore cuz its silly silly 2 yr old shit but what ppl forget are the tracks like the ones named above
