help me with some car audio

alright, i didn't quite know where to post this but here it is.

here is my situation. i've got a pioneer DEH-P860mp premier series deck and an AVX-P8dvd Dvd player. i want both of them in my 91' grand prix.
right now i've got older jvc deck in my car with a mounting kit. all of this time i thought my car had a double din dash. when i had called the car audio place today and booked an installation time, they told me that my car only has 1.5 size din dash, and that both decks won't fit. i was a bit pissed, this wasn't what i wanted to hear, so i canceled the appointment. what i'm wondering is if theres anything i can do to get these decks in my car, preferably one on top of the other.

ps. i don't have the brain for the dvd component, so i can't run the whole system just off that. it was going to hook up to the other deck through aux.

if anyone can help me with this, it would be great

the only thing I could suggest is putting the dvd player in your glovebox and put the screen in the dash......other than that you really can't do much......I know some cars you can get a brand new dash but I doubt they make them for that old of a ride.............

you need 2 dins right? you have 1 deck that plays the dvd's and 1 deck that has the monitor right???

no, one deck is the dvd player with the flip up monitor, the other deck is my cd player

why would you need the cd player??? your dvd player should play cd's also....

it can, but it doesn't have the equilizer and other features of the deck, for all of that i'd have to buy the "brain" for the dvd player, it'll just sound better with the deck.

i dont no if u can do that... i would just get a new car it prolly would be cheaper than gettin it all to work

take that stuff to Roger Stero or Best Buy or something and just save a headache
