FUCK! My Brother Could Have Won $2,100,000
Well, we just found out today that my older brother coulda been a multi-millionaire..
He subscribed to a magazine so he could get some free cd's while they were doin this sweepstakes thing. If you subscribed, you were entered into the drawing. The grand prize was $2,100,000, which he would have won. But when he subscribed, he used our address because he was living with us at the time cuz he had just moved here and was stayin here until he moved into his other house. Well, about a month ago, the mailman delivered a letter came and my mom had to sign for it. It had "Important Letter" and shit printed on it, it had that black stuff on it so you couldn't read the inside, and the addresses were handwritten but everything else was printed. It had "Better Homes & Gardens" on it (the magazine he had to subscribe to, he did it for my mom lol). Well we set it aside since it was his and called him and told him to come pick up his mail and shit, but he never did. Well today, my mom opened the letter and it said that they wanted him to call regarding the $2,100,000 and it gave him this ID # that he had to give them when he called. The only thing was that it said he had to call before the expiration date which was 3/15/2007.  It sucks so fuckin badly. He coulda had 30 annual payments of $70,000 or one big payment of $1,089,000-somethin. We would be out of debt and livin so nice right now...

I've always thought they were marketing shit. That nobody really won. Specially that much money.

those contests are real but people that usually don't deserve it win or they got some "homemakeover" sob story so they hook em up...but they don't get theres 100000000000000000000000 homemakeover sob stories...they need to hook everybody up!
