I always remember this day

Its April 11.....When i woke up this morning,i instantly thought about this very same day, exactly 1 year ago.
I will never forget about all the good times we had at the begining of 06.....Superbowl was here,we hit EVERY PARTY,We went out EVERY NIGHT Literally.....we was doin shows outta state...niggaz was GETTIN MONEY!!! It was just all fun at the begining of April 06 i was in AZ.....Proof had some shows in australia and he came to AZ after that.Me and Pokerface picked P up from the airport....when he looked in the ride and seen i was there,he was like,HASH..what the fuck r YOU doin here...we kicked it and laughed and talked shit for hours....Shit P even hit the blunt a couple times..hahaha....anyways we went and played a couple of games at the bowling alley near Pokerface's crib. So we're walkin to the bowling alley and everybody keeps stoping us like OH MY GOD THATS PROOF....and im tellin him like,just by these kids seeing u walk the streets and u kickin it with them,that shit just made there whole day.After i whopped ass in bowlin,we went to the cheeba hut and fucked some shit up!
About a week or so goes by and im back in the D...I see P at the office on april 10th.....I say"how ya doin sir"(just some shit he always said) he never answered me but instead asked how i was doin...didnt think nothin of it.I go in his office and start playin the 360...as P was about to leave he said you know what..Im come by I-MAC's studio tonight i aint been there yet so thats where im goin..we like bet thats wus up...so we said aight see u in a min. he said the same,we gave each other daps and kept it movin.....later that night around 9:30 or 10:00 super emcee calls my phone ands says"we on the way we just stoppin at proofs apt. for a sec..Im like aight..in a min. Time goes by and like 1:00am rolls around,I diddnt think nothin of it cause i figured the nigga might come at 3:00am in the morning,It aint no tellin with him..So everybody(Zo and REAG) leaves my crib around 2:30am...I never went to sleep...I get a call at six in the morning talkin bout P got shot...and im like WHAT!??! Im like he gon be alright,he gon be alright...I turn the tv on and all i see is THE WORST SHIT POSSIBLE...

Around this same time last year we all was at ST. ANDREWS gettin FUCKED UP,crying and prayin.....
P always told me that real shit...and it taught me to tell others that same REAL SHIT....We will never forget that and as long as its DETROIT HIP HOP...PROOF WILL ALWAYS BE HERE.
