'24'-Pirate Admits To Mass-TV-Rape Spree ![]() Like the great elk, Osama bin Laden still runs free…but at least we got that shifty bastard Jorge Romero. I’m speaking, of course, about the evil Chicago man busted for posting the first four episodes of this season’s 24 on the internet before they aired on Fox. Yes, THAT MAN. For the purposes of this article, we’ll call him…say, Hitler. Hitler pleaded guilty yesterday to felony charges and admitted he uploaded the episodes to LiveDigital.com eight days before they were broadcast and that after uploading he publicized them by providing links on other publicly available sites, including Digg.com. Fox employees saw the yet-to-be released episodes on LiveDigital.com prior to the release date and, after investigators determined that the accounts used to upload were assigned to Hitler and his family, law enforcement agents obtained a search warrant for his home. During the search, agents seized a computer on which they found evidence that Hitler uploaded the stolen materials. The agents also interviewed Hitler, who acknowledged his role in the scheme. Fox has reported that its losses from Hitler’s infringement exceeded $4 million USD. Hitler pleaded guilty to uploading copyrighted material to a publicly accessible computer network knowing the work was intended for commercial distribution, a felony that carries a statutory maximum sentence of three years in federal prison. Hitler pleaded guilty before United States District Judge Stephen V. Wilson, who is scheduled to sentence the defendant on September 10. Stephen V. Wilson...you, sir, are an American hero. |
