Comcastic: Cable Problem for Woman Who Does Not Have Cable
Lucy Gaven is not sure when the cable arrived and has no idea what it does. Lucy does not even have cable television but sometime in January a cable was draped across her backyard and sat for half a year.
Repeated calls to the cable company got Lucy nowhere. The company said they would bury it in April, June and July but still it lay across her property until last week. Lucy finally called "What's Your Problem?" of the Chicago Tribune asking for help.
The problem solver called Comcast and last Friday a crew finally arrived at Lucy's house and buried the cable. The cable could not be buried in April since the ground was frozen and later the cable company could not find the cable.
