Police Chief Arrested for Stealing Beer: From Fire Department
A Kansas police chief has been arrested after allegedly being caught stealing quantities of beer from the nearby fire department. 41-year-old Brian Hill has been released on $25,000 bond, and is due to appear in court mid August.
The fire chief, Larry Langerman said, "The offices are separated. There's a door in between them." When asked why the fire department was stocking beer, he chose not to answer. The city attorney was also choosing to remain tight-lipped on the issue. "In this period of time, until Brian's matter is taken care of, we're not going to go any further into it," he said.
