Chamillionaire to Collaborate with 50 Cent?

Word on the street is that Chamillionaire will be featured on 50 Cent's next album. This is a good look for Cham, but I'm trying to make sense of it all, seeing as 50 has a history of turning his back on the South.

With the exception of Bun B, I don't recall 50 ever collaborating with a southern artist outside of his own camp. So, if there's truth to all this, my question is: What compelled Curtis to reach out to the South via Chamillionaire?

You see, 50 is a smart businessman (hate him or love him), and he's only watching his purse by putting Cham on his album. Fif is aware of how terribly Southern rap fans despised him for condemning the dirty south in his March 2006 interview with MTV. He's aware that his fanbase dropped drastically as soon as he said, "A lot of the music that comes out of the South is kind of simplified." Do I need to remind you of the rest of his dirty south-bashing statements? So, he's practically lobbying for our support by using Chamillionaire as a stooge.

And you wonder why Scarface called out this wanksta on "Snitch Nigga," which he never summoned up enough courage to respond to.

Nice move, Curtis. We'll see how this one plays out.
