I completely understand babe. I haven't seen my dad in like 14 years no shade. It's cool though, made me a stronger person. I've got a lot of family that wants to come to the US, too, but Immigration makes it hard for islanders to become citizens so they can work legit jobs. Times are hard everywhere, even here in the states. Bush took tax dollars and gave it to billion dollar corporations because they made bad business decisions, and that's fucked up because I can barely afford tuition, my mama can barely pay our bills and my grandmother's meds cost so much she cuts her pills in half just to stretch her money. Things are messed up here, too. The grass ain't always greener and Bush done messed up so bad 18,000 people showed up at a job fair in DC looking for work. People with degrees can't even find work because of that idiot. And they still haven't fixed Louisiana after Hurrican Katrina hit damn near 3 years ago. I'm praying for you hunnie, either way

lol...i was in kingston for a little bit. i stayed in clarendon, mandeville and i visited ocho rios for 3 days. i love ocho rios.
i wanna go back in july cuz i just love the ethiopian apples.
they are the best fruit i've ever tasted.
and i ate like 10 mangos a day. curry goat, jerk chicken, oxtail, bulla, stew peas, festival, dumpling...oh, i was in heaven.

i know what you mean about leaving though. things are really rough there. most of my family went to england first and then came to america cuz it's easier that way.

no...i don't live in jamaica && i never have.
my grandparents & most of my family is jamaican.
i have cousins & my mother is from london, england.
i've visited jamaica once though...i long to go back...i love it there.
