Start here and read straight down. The first post is the last part. This is the beginning. - -
I know, I'm just fucking around. Man, to tell you the truth, I post bullshit in the reply so I can get to the song. I'm not a fan of the new "post to see content" download forum. So I post random bullshit.
I myself am an agnostic. So I don't admit to or deny such a higher power. It would be beyond my ability to do so since it is after all a higher power. I go by a more belief system of whatever gets you through the night. It doesn't bother me if one has belief in God or Allah or Bhudda or insert whatever.
Faith is an essential part of humanity. It does disturb me to find people who kill in the name of God; who act like they're holier or better then the next man because they have faith in a specific God. The history of humanity's relationship with religion is disturbing. I am also disturbed by people's crutch to use religion as an answer to the unknown. Religion once served as a necessary tool of human's exploring creativity and intelligence. Now it only provides a mystical assurance to the restless questions of why we exist and how do we. Science has replaced religion but it can not replace emotions which religions still grasps onto. But, I too see the good religion has in people and it reminds not all is bad. They don't force their opinions on others, they express their belief. They act as they would like to be treated. They lend a helping hand. They're good people with positives values.
I know in my life I have seen too much of the negative side of religion. People that act as if what they do in this world with the time they have is redeemable as long as the have belief. That the wrongs they do will be forgiven and they will charioted off to some foreign place called Heaven. Wrongs are wrongs no matter how much faith you have. One must strive to be the best person every day. They must be consistent in their efforts at producing positivity in life. I am tired of the nihilism that comes with religion.
As I said I am agnostic. If God or Gods exist I am far too ignorant to grasp such a concept - to be all knowing, to be everywhere, and to exist at all times is incomprehensible. It is to have no end and no beginning. Naturally, I ask why and how did God come to be. Religious people I have countered seem afraid of that question as if to question God is wrong. Does God not want you to question faith in order to find reason of belief? If God is right then fear of losing a faithful audience should not exist for God will be right no matter how many times they question such divine existence. Instead people run and become defensive, resorting to the ugliest of emotions. They do not act like humans of faith. They act fearful like a prey.
My words could kill a man much more than kilogram
Of coke, once spoke, shit can hit the ceiling fan
'Cause in the booth I hear the siren calls
When I inflame off four entire walls with fireballs
