Need some advice and tips on doing some designing
I wanna began doing some graphics designing and I pretty much want to start with basic stuff, making forum sigs and what not. I have photoshop. What are some tips you guys can give on how to began etc. Just tell me anything, thx.

make sure you at least have CS2 or CS3
look in the resources section for tutorials, the first thing to do it learn how to use everything

yeh just learn from tutorials then go play round with your own things till you develop a style you feel happy with

tutorials for sigs are the best way to get an idea of how to use the different tools available in photoshop. you should learn key things in regards to lighting, blending, coloring etc which you can then use for more difficult projects (i.e. flyers, web sites, covers etc)
your best bet is to join planet renders for the free tuts and keep practicing.
