Lol word, i wanted to do it like i regularly do tapes with the concept and all but he said he wanted something out of the box and different because thats how he thinks, so i personally thinks its fine but yea.

my advice lose the lighting and smoke. work on the text and maybe add some kind of texture around the corners and some adjustment layers to give the cover some kind of overall color.
