I recorded a lil bit first, u don't have to but i did
http://www.mypicshare.com/dfvhvsjdpic.html Then up on your tabs go to the "Insert" Tab and the down to Assignable FX... http://www.mypicshare.com/0mlc9mngpic.html On the Left where all the folders are at find your VST folder and then you should see Auto-Tune VST, highlight it and then click "OK" http://www.mypicshare.com/t1dzlphjpic.html Then You should have the ANTARES Keyboard come up http://www.mypicshare.com/61wm59mnpic.html This is how it should be for the "T-Pain" effect http://www.mypicshare.com/mzn5bsvspic.html Settings like these. In Automatic Detection Mode(not graphical) C Major Retune-0 Tracking-67 Vibrato Section: All zero except for Amplitude-30 Formant-100 Pitch knob can be tweaked for more effect. Voice input type: Alto/Tenor, or your choice. Retune is usually always at 0, but the Tracking can be tweaked for different effects. The Vibrato section is real important for the effect. All other vibrato settings except for those listed here are set to "0"(example- "rate") I usually max out the Formant and Amplitude settings (Thanx to YG22 for the PM) Don't Forget to save ur Preset that way if u need it for later http://www.mypicshare.com/e6578dt7pic.html now u'll want to cloce it out and the either right click on the wav file you made or right click on the left, u kind of got to get it right on that lil open box area in the pick it's by the blue box with the 1, this is y i record a little bit first cause it's easier to right click the wav file instead, goto Insert/Remove Envelope and u should have a FX 1 which is the first if you go back and make changes it will goto FX 2 and so on http://www.mypicshare.com/5vcpt66lpic.html You should now have a Green line across, note you can click on the line and move it up or down for more of an effect or less of one http://www.mypicshare.com/ciif6wcmpic.html This is my first Tut hope I made it understandable Enjoy! |
