When I record in acid pro the sound only comes out of the right speaker and when you look at the wave it doenst even record in the left speaker. I usually have to adjust the slider to make it come out of the other speaker. Is there a way to fix this? I'm using a usb headset mic if that matters.

You need a proper mic with a preamp to record right.

double click on your volume control which should be by ur time @ the bottom right of the screen (the icon is a speaker) click options then goto properties goto mixer device since it is a USB mic and find ur device mine says USB Audio Codec (it's a MXL .006 USB) ur's might be different the goto recording and click ok u should have Mic Volume already selected now look @ the balance and make sure it's in the middle and not more to either side
