so ask a producer here how he does wut he does, like how 504 make his snare roll or how I make an good sound snare, or wut does the automation do in fruity loops, or find about how a famous producer do wut they do.

Try a small boost around 60-120Hz . Try boosting around 6kHz for that 'snappy' sound.

100-250Hz ~ Fills out the sound
6-8kHz ~ Adds presence

Just draw in (or play in) the midi where you want the snares. From listening to that song it sounds like the snares are written in thirds.

note: I have no idea if that answers your question.

Open your snare roll in the piano roll. Select the part you wanna chop with the select tool. Then go to tools --> chop



Then just use the "time mul" (time multiplicator) to chop it up:
