Best live show
I saw Devin the Dude here in Kc last week at club Kandi (not a strip club).
Devin killed the show first off the Dj he bought with him spun for about three hours and had the place hype then Devin came on with track 2 off his album from 3yrs ago. The chronic smoke filled the room as soon as he did the little dj scratching sound that he does. Devin had a blunt in one hand and the mic in the other grooving with the crowd all nite. Towards the end he started getting deep doing sum of his thought provoking tracks and the show came 2gether so clean. I think it was the club which made the event real intimate (only about 400) so he was right there in front of u and from the upper level u could reach down and give him pound while he was spitting. Personally I feel it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen and I've been lower level for Jayz, 50 cent, kanye, Lauren Hill, Wyclef, lil flip, twista, usher, tech n9ne and a few others. nas - central park - 2005 - all four elements of hip-hop displayed + poetry from Saul Williams... Ripped it! Nas killed it, last track was "One Mic" The dude was on his knees screaming into the mic... Unforgettable.
