Top Ten Hottest MC's in the game..
I know other people on here have posted about Mtv's Top ten hottest MC's in the game coming up on May 16th. They did it last year and some people thought it was wack because its MTV and some artists were left off. Now there is misconception with this list because its about the HOTTEST MC"s in the game not neccesarily the best because there were many MC's that aren't mainstream or sell records that are better than most of the people on last years list. Even though most of these artists aren't lyrical they still are doing big. Now I think a lot has do to factor in to being a Hot MC such as impact, persona, swagger, delivery, style, sales at least people have to know who you are, music that people are bumping in their car, the club, and their ipods, popularity, and keeping that hotness up with sustaining substance.
Even though people will complain cuz its mainstream MTV I think its good for hip hop and brings back the competitiveness hip hop is in dire need of.... This is my list in no particular order:
Styles P (mad lyrical) Crooked I (Hip Hop Weekly series makes him a hot MC) Game (LAX is gonna be big) Weezy (constant songs he be makin) Jeezy (dude's got major swag that differs him from other MC's) T.I (that 'no matter what' track is da shit) Joe Budden (Mood Muzik 3 gets regular playback from me) Rick Ross (album went hard) Ransom (same as Ross) Cam'ron (still bump that Public Enemy mixtape. even though he isn't really active)
