If everyone just supported their artist everything would be like it used to.

You all don't see the problem, its not the radio, the TV, or even the artists.

Its the supporting fans, the ones that buy the albums, watch it on TV and listen to it on the radio. You cant change the supporting fans minds in what they like. It is usually what they grow up around and their environment. Most people in hip hop listen to the trash generic money, hoes, clothes, and bank rolls.

With that being said, upcoming artists who are unique and have a different style and message dont get paid attention to, dont get signed by most bigger labels, and have a hard time being accepted whether by their community or clubs/events they want to perform at. They lose confidence, motivation, and enthusiasm, those things can destroy anybody's dream and cause them to stray away OR change up and do the same bullshit that gets the things they wanted.....

Such as transforming and twisting their style to become acceptable and build more opportunites so they can get all the things they wanted in the 1st place. Its a cycle that will continue, uniquness in hip hop is dying. They only show, promote and glorify one type to the masses and general hip hop community, the bullshit wannabe gangsta and thug life type filled with materialistic artists who often never promote anything positive or different.

"Nerd" rap is a prime example. Their acceptance is alot lower, they often catch alot of shit for being different and unique (which is sad to see from a hip hop community because thats how it started, with our own unique style) And obviously they receive alot less exposure and promotion from TVs and Radios. Why? Because supporting fans, viewers, and listeners dont want to listen to it. Therefore the radio and TV companies dont waste time with most of it.

Big post i know but theres alot to this subject. Originality is dying in hip hop and its effecting alot of potentially great upcoming artists.

Eliminate bling blings, fast cars and bad bitches and stard telling what the streets represent>>>>>>>> DMX says, "I love to write rhymes. I love to express what real (people) feel, what street (people) feel. They need to be heard. They need to know there is a voice that speaks for them, and I am that voice."<<<<<<<<
