Its not a classic, but its a really nice album and should be considered for album of the year. I cant think of an album I enjoyed more than this year. Noticed I said "enjoyed". Not to bash anybody, but these cats yall rave about like Nas are great rappers, but do you really enjoy their music? Nas is a great lyricist, but honesty "Untitled" was boring. What makes an album boring? The production. Carter 3 is definintly the best produced album of the year. The beats are simply outstanding. I also love the balance of the album. It has a good mix of radio song, deep songs, and hard songs. Wayne used concepts on this album, something he hasnt tried on any previous albums. "Shoot Me Down" and "Dr. Carter" are great examples of this. "Shoot Me Down" is obviously a great song, where Wayne talks about shooting his different personas down. "Dr. Carter" has Weezy playing as a doctor trying to save hip-hop. I appreciate that in todays rap. Wayne actually trying to be creative. All in all, this was a great album, Wayne brough alot of heat, and its no where near as bad as the haters portray. I know the haters gon try to say this album, is wack or whatever, but its only because of their hate for Wayne. Which I havent figured out yet. Most of them didnt even give C3 a chance. They listened with a very pessimistic atittude, therefore they made themselves think C3 was wack. When in reality its a pretty good album. Why else is it still sellin 80,000 a week. Hype dont last that long on a product. And the funny part is, I havent heard one hater give me a legit reason as to why they think C3 sucks.

2 months later, the album blows. A few dope joints I fuck with but most the time I find myself pressing the skip button a little too much.
