But to satisfy your question. i only have one reason y Hip-Hop aint dead.
Like DMX said, Hip-Hop is a culture, rap is the language, graffiti is tha art, and all that good stuff.

Talent , originality , style , empowerment are near death except for a selct few. Other than that it is all mass produced , reused , unoriginal , and mindless.

10 Reasons H.H.I.D. :

- Unorginalty, except in a few artists. (if H.H. isn't dead, and lives in the South, then why does everyone down there make songs that sound the same e.g. Snap Ya Fingaz, It's Goin Down)
- We've strayed too far from the concept of a rebellious lifestyel. (noone is going around like NWA did, or Ice-T)
- Lack of a H.H. God - I mean a rapper who is truly more talented than everyone else in the game.
- Too many songs for the club - (Some songs is ok, but it seems like alot of shit is just club, club, club. Where is your Shook Ones, or 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanteds?)
- Overused lyrics - atl, I am talking to rappers like Game. There needs to be some orginality in the lyrics. Instead of shit like, "I'mma shoot guns, drive my gallardo, I'mma smack the bitches", there's gotta be something more intelligent that people can rap avbout. Guys like Kanye and Common, and hell even Lupe, are doing this.
- Too much beef, no unity.
- Barley any "mainstream" West-Coast rap. (Except for Game)
- Guys like 50 Cent being veiwed by the media as a H.H. legend - If the media glorifies guys like 50 Cent, not just 50, but there are other people like him, who get tons of respect from the media, which brainwashes the people.
- Sales going down in music, or people buying the wrong stuff. (For instance, Game sells 360k 1st week, and Jay sells 650k. Or Snoop Dogg only sells 260K, and T.I.is the only one to go plat, which was deserved)
- H.H. has become all about the benjamins, and not for the love of H.H.

Those are 10 valid reasons why H.H. is dead. I'm not hating on the South, cause I love their music, it's just unorginal, that's all. But take my ideas seriously.
