i believe that we need a new tupac in this era of hip hop. Hip hop is in a state of emergency right now and has been for more than a year. fuck it, hip hop was in a state of emergeny ever since pac and big died.
Hip hop has to have more rebelious and intelligent rappers who are gonna be willing to send important messages to the society. They gotta be political and fight against the regime that has been slowly fuckin up the world (*cough* bush adminstration). Wat the fuck will happen when nas, and all the legends will disappear from the rap scene. who the fuck will replace them? yung joc?.... we need more talib kwelis, mos defs, nases, papooses, and lupes. The saviour of hip hop should be a combination of Jimi Hendrix's and Pac's revolutionistic and rebellious ideas. The Game has a potential to become "like" pac, but his DA album did not meet the standards. album was good, but 99% of the album was about impalas, bitches, name-dropping, and sucking up to dre. New Pac...possibly papoose? ... possibly, immortal technique, but he has to go mainstream. i know he's against commercialism, but he needs to share his messages to the world. |

Many will say Lupe will be the next Pac, but I dunno. Chino is up there, just ain't dropping enough and he doesn't rap to most peoples liking, but he is the Lyrical Messiah.

chino is actually a member of MENSA, i never heard him but he must be pretty smart
and to be the new pac, you have to carry on his legacy of social concerns, which game doesnt since he doesnt touch political/social issues (wish he did tho, game is excellent when he gets deep) i see hope in papoose as well, but i feel hes too "old"(28)

i cant say lupe fiasco is the next tupac shakur cuz even tho the boy is sicker then your average, his style aint even close to that of 2pac's, not sayin hes not good, just not pac like, i thought jeezy was alil bit like him especially with soul survivor, lyrics in that are amazing but idk bout him, not even papoose cuz hes great too but not like him

none of these people mentioned are gonna do anything.. hip-hop messiah will hit you in the face and you wont even see it, he'she will come from the most unexpected of places and will be instantly recognized as a threat but will be ignored.. and then a song will be released and it will change pretty much everything
